Problems with the Latitude APP

My wife and I have each other set up for tracking and about 2 months ago I was able to track her progress driving accross country with little lag and very accurate results. Nothing has changes and recently her location remains in the same location for over a week. Then it will record her location properly and remain at that location for a week or so.

Does aqnyone have any Ideas or information that may explain this stagnation?

Other than that and some new issues with the most recent update of Pandora (Previously set up stations have gone away), I love my Droid 1 and have not experienced any of the issues others have posted about.

Latitude will only update location if the GPS radio is active. It's possible it's getting turned off automatically because of a power saving setting.

latitude requires a clear line of sight to the sky or a building that has GPS signal penetration. On your settings there is a setting to turn on assited gps. Make sure all those are checked for it to work. You need to have assisted gps, use sattelites and use cellular or something around those lines. Latitue will give you an aproximate location. When all else fails, kill it using advanced task killer froyo and reload. Reboot also works. My gf always thinks im cheating because latitude says im half a mile away LOL she doesnt believe me thats where the Verizon tower is at. its quite amuzing even when i drove her to the tower to show her.. ha.. When im in my car it will give the exact location.

How sad is the customer service of verizon and samsung? We do not have froyo while other phones have their updates,not to mention gingerbread is done and about to be distributed. Fascinate owners cant even view the majority of websies. Whats even worse is the blatant waste of our time with this update thathey are about to give us which is not froyo it is full of additional bloatware and a few minor fixes. Thanks for nothing.
