Pictures gone after 2.2 upgrade? Phone won't recognize media card

My media card is not recognized now and I cannot find any of my pictures since I updated to 2.2. Can I get them back? How do I get it to recognize my card? I've done battery reset...still nothing.

Try removing the card and place it in a pc reader and see if the ifnormation shows, if it does read information, copy everything of card onto desktop and then format the card and try again in the phone.

First we want to make sure that you have the latest update.

From the main screen, touch the menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch About Phone
Touch System Updates

Then could I get you to power off the phone and remove the SD card, then power the phone back on. Then could I get you to unmount the SD card.

Press Menu > Settings > SD

card & storage > Unmount SD card.

Then could I get you to power the phone off and place the SD card back in the phone, then re-mount the SD card.

Press Menu > Settings > SDcard & storage > mount SD card.

If you still have the same problems, unmount the SD Card again with it in the phone, then re-mount the SD card, even though the card is not detected, it should allow you to unmount after removing it and putting the card back in.
