Short Code

Does anyone know if the Droidx accepts short codes? I am attempting to do mobile banking , but the code that's text from the bank is not coming through to my cell.  When I called the bank, I was told that my phone must be able to accept short codes.

The Motorola Droid X is compatible with short codes; however, if you have a premium text message block you may not receive the short code messages.
