Yet another annoyance snuck in by Verizon. Why do I have to have my web browser pop up and goto Vcast Music Managers website every time I plug in my droid? I have no desire to download this app, can this feature be disabled?!?
When you connect your X there is a little blue icon in the right hand of your screen that pops up, if you have Windows 7 you might have to click the white arrow to see it. Just right click that icon and deselect the option for the pop up when you connect your phone.
I can't seem to turn it off either. Can you give more instructions? Thank you.
On my latptop, after connecting my DROID X via the USB cable, a little "M" icon shows up in the list of active programs (bottom right of screen) ... I just right-click on it and an option is to set what activity starts when I connect ... I just selected "do nothing" ... works like a charm.
