118012222269 Texts Need to Stop!!!

I keep receiving text messages from 118012222269 and I followed the advice on the other forums (namely the VS. Rep Michele), but it didn't work. Basically I registered online at vtext.com and tried to block the "spam" texts from this number (My Services>Spam Controls), but you can only block 10-digit numbers. Since this number is 12 digits, it wouldn't take the request and there was an error on the page.

Removing Mobile Email is not an option because I'm receiving TEXTS from this number, not emails. Also, I need my mobile email!

Please help.

Did you try texting stop back to them? If you know the company find them on the web and call them and tell them to stop. If you don't know the compnay then call teck support and they can probablly tell you who the company is, they were able to for me once with a spam text. Mary

I just went into mobile email and changed the option setting to never alert me of new emails hoping that will stop them.

I'm confused, you said it was spam texts what does that have to do with email alerts? Mary

Does any of the text have, "//BREW" as part of the text? If so, have you changed phones or numbers recentrly?

Do NOT text them back! They are out of the country and you will get charged for Intenational Text, AND they keep texting you anyway. I know all of the above because I sent them a Cease and Desist per FCC Spam laws- figured that would make it clear I wasn't messing around. I still get text messages form them and I had a pricey messaging charge.
