I just purchased 2 Droid X's for myself & my daughter. When she goes to text a message, she can turn the phone sideways & the keyboard turns also; on mine the keyboard won't turn. Is there a way to make the keyboard turn?..Please help

Does the orientation change when you rotate the phone in other applications, like web browsing?
If not, go to Settings> Display> Auto-Rotate Screen. Make sure there is a check mark on that. If not, check it and head back to your texting.

I forgot to ask one thing. Are you left-handed? I ask because if you havent updated your phones Operating System to 2.2 yet the phone will not rotate the display if you turn it clock-wise.

I had to be quick, i may not have much time left My fridge sounds like a Geiger counter gone mad. Time to head to the depot for a new one!
Did what you said but there is nothing in Settings that says display,,mine says SOUND & DISPLAY but there is nothing there nothing that says Auto-Rotate
