Contacts did not all transfer in Backup Assistant to Droid X

I backed up contacts before activating Droid X

I downloaded backup assistant on droid x

Message received that transfer was successful

All the contacts are not on the Droid X

I tried synch process on Verizon site and it never finished

Any ideas other than to manually enter the contact before I recycle my phone. Good thing I didn't do the recycle!!!!

BUA deleted all my contacts on the droid incredible...Verizon said they are having issues with BUA, it's been a few days now. I don't know when they will resolve the problem. I currently only have 46 of my 401 contacts on my phone. A major inconvenience!!!

I know its not much of help for you now but MyBackup does good on backing up personal info so you can restore device when BUA acts up again, best 4.99 spent because it saved me.. BUA only restore 40 of my 1024 contacts, I was able to restore from MyBackup..

I do apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to transfer the contacts to your device. I can understand how frustrating this can be. Our technicians are working diligently to resolve the issue. There is no Estimated Time of Resolution at this time. As more information becomes available for a resolution, we will be sure to pass the information along.

This has been going on for almost 2 weeks. I'm just glad I am backed up to Gmail. I do worry about my wifes phone not being on the web, and depending on Broke BUA.

If you still have the phone that has all your contacts on them then you can link the old phone yo your x by bluetooth and transfer your contacts that way.

MyBackup still appears alot easier to backup and restore information without worring about losing any data, it does all your contacts, sms and mms, as well as call history list.

Backup Assistant has not been any assistant at all since I got the phone a month ago. In fact it wasn't working with my Voyager either before that. I'm not sure it ever worked. Last night I tried again and between then and this AM it finally synced all my contacts and that and the Google sync now have all my contacts on the phone. I do believe they finally fixed the thing until the next time it breaks!
