Blackberry Bold 9780 RIM Announcement

Anyone heard if Verizon will carry the new Blackberry Bold 9780 anytime soon?

 

RIM just announced the news about the Bold 9780, with  a 624MHz processor, 2.44-inch display, 480 x 360 resolution, 5 megapixel camera  with auto focus, LED flash, 2X digital zoom, 3.6 Mbps HSDPA connectivity, 512MB of flash storage  and includes BlackBerry 6  operating system. 

 

On a side note, the Bold 9780 will be available from T-Mobile on November 17. Guess I'll have to wait and see before ugrading my BB Curve 8330 now that I've reached the new every two milestone.

Not likely to see the 9780 on VZW.  The 9650 is the CDMA version of the Bold series and the only upgrade would be the camera.  I have not heard rumors of any new versions of the 9650 in the works which leads me to believe that VZW wants to include LTE technology in the next version's of the Bold & Storm Blackberry phones.
