Sync Personal Information

I just swtich to the Motorola Droid X from my iPhone.

 

A few things are making it tough to sync all of my personal information, with the iphone it was plug and play pretty simple, here everything is a chore.

 

How do I sync my Windows Explorer Favorites with my Droid X Browser.  I really don't want to type them in individually and update them all the same way???

 

With my iPhone it would sync my contacts, calendar and favorites each time I plugged the phone in, how can I do it now?

Welcome to the land of Droids.

First, connect your Droid to your computer using the cord that came with the phone. Your computer should see the Droid as another Drive, much like a thumbdrive.

Then go to your computer hard drive and find the favorites folder. Drag it to the Droid Drive, whatever letter the computer assigned to it. Don't worry about finding the folder it should go in. Just place it on the main folder and it will find the correct folder for you and put it in.

I should also mention that once you tether your Droid to your computer, the "Media Manger" will come on. If you have a 32 bit system, it will work. If you have a 64 bit system, forget it, just click it shut.
