"Download Unsuccessful"

After downloading and installing 2.2 (i followed wildmans instructions just to avoid "some" of the problems the update comes with) i managed to download and install a few apps, then the apps stopped downloading and the message "Download Unsuccessful" will appear.... any idea? thank you.

I have noticed this issue from time to time and I usually resolve by either toggling airplane mode on and then back off, for some reason the data connection will go dormant when a user has their device on the Maximum Battery or Night Saver Mode settings, I am thinking this has something to do with these options have a feature to auto disconnect connection to save battery life.

I believe this may resolve your issues, give it a try and if it dont work try a shutting down and start back up..

This happened for one app that I moved to the SD card before I performed the factory reset. I didn't reformat the SD Card before the factory reset. As a result there were data remnants left behind. When I moved the app to the SD Card, it had been moved into its own subdirectory. I used Astro file manager to delete the subdirectory then the app installed just fine.
