CAN YOU PUT A PASSWORD ON A DROID X

I WANT TO PUT A PASSWORD ON MY DROID X LIKE WHEN YOU TURN IT ON IT ASKS YOU FOR PASSWORD WHEN YOU SLIDE TO UNLOCK CAN YOU DO THAT I REALLY NEED TO LOCK IT

Yes you can. You can either set up a numbered lock or pattern lock. Go to settings, Location and Security, then to Security lock. Go from there to set passwords and manage restrictions locks.

yea same here when i get mine im going to need a password lock so my five year old wont ruin my phone..

well if I don't put a password I cannot go to setting and its counting wrong passwords
