Can anyone explain to me how the Google Talk works and how I get it to load on my droid X.

Google Talk is another instant messenger basically. You can chat to friends on there. Google Talk I believe should already come preloaded on your phone. When you go to the app & tap it, it should automatically load. Your buddies should appear on your buddy list
