SD card formating for Storm 2

So I just had to get a new storm sent to me and unfortunatly it isn't reading my memory card, so I was told that I have to put everything that was on the momory card onto my computer and then I had to reformat the SD card for the new storm.....so my question is how do I do that?! PLEASE HELP!

No worries, it's easy. Put your SD card into a card reader, if you have one, then into your computer. (Alternately, you can connect your phone via the USB cable.) Drag the whole BlackBerry folder onto your computer's desktop. (Edited to add: Please make sure all your photos and other files you want to save from the media card are on your computer.)

Then put the card into your phone, go to Options, then Media Card. Press the Menu key, then choose Format. This will erase all your data but will give you the BB folders you need. Once formatted, connect again either via USB or a card reader. Open the BlackBerry folder on your computer desktop and drag your files into your new folders on the SD card.

Thank you I did do all of that, but now the phone is saying that I don't have a memory card inserted in device.

Make sure the card is in securely, then format again. Then do a battery pull to see if that helps.

Also check your media card settings:

Media Card Support: On

Encryption Mode: None

Mass Storage Mode Support: On

Auto Enable When Connected: Yes or Prompt
