What I like about the Droid is that it can be set to automatically retrieve local time from the cell network when I travel and change time zones. What's not so great is that when it does this, it changes all the appointment times on the calendar! Example: I live in the Central Time zone, and enter meeting times and flight times, et cetera, all in local time - like any normal person would. But when I travel to California and the Droid picks up that it's in Pacific time, it not only changes the clock on the Droid, it also moves all my appointments by two hours. This is nuts.
Of course, I can "lock" the Droid to Central Time, and then the appointments don't get changed, but then the clock display also stays on Central Time. Does anyone know of an app or a fix for this problem so I can use the automatic time zone option without screwing up my calendar appointments? Thanks!!!
