Droid 2 is now free. Should I buy?

Hi.

Now that the Droid 2 is free on contract, the price is definitely right. Am debating between getting this versus waiting to see what other phones are coming.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Other phones are coming. The rumored replacement for the D2 is a very similar phone, but with world capabilities, as well as LTE capabilities.
With phones there is always something better on the horizon :smileyhappy:

I have my FOURTH Droid 2 because it has been nothing but problems.

The reason they are giving them away free is because that it their total worth.

Actually that's wrong, they should pay YOU take on to compensate you for the frustration you have to endure.

You wont outgrow the droid 2 anytime soon. It has a fast processor and very user friendly. Updates are coming from google to keep it up to date. There are however more phones coming up. I would probably wait until the holiday season. Also dont forget to ask verizon about the 1 year early upgrade. You can get a new phone every 1 year on the main lines.

Interesting, although with the Droid Pro, I think I'd miss having a huge screen. 3.1" is pretty small.
