app box where is it on new update

Umm, what is the app box? If you're talking about the market you should be able to find it in the 4x4 grid button.

I think she means "where's the app drawer"?

It's no longer a large grey tab with the arrow on it that you have to drag open.

Now it's just that small 4x4 square icon in the same place. Just tap it to open.

Ohh, that makes sense. Yea, with the old version the drawer metaphor worked well. I'm not sure what to call the new thing other than the 4x4 button.

The new one is just called the Launcher icon.

I like this one way better than the old grey bar. The new one even changes to a "Home" icon for a quick return.

No more dragging, just a tap will toggle back & forth.

I've been running ADW Launcher in place of the stock Home app and they've been using the "Froyo" launcher for a while now.

Nice. The original "App Drawer" feels kinda clumsy after using the new one...

So launcher might be workable, but isn't as obvious as drawer.
My example... my bosses boss is a huge apple guy. One day we were in a meeting and he needed to get something off the net. He didn't have his iphone with him, so I gave him my driod.
He got what he needed, but then started exploring. He told me I didn't have very mny apps, and I just said "open the bottom drawer". Now I had lots of apps.
With the current solution I would have to say to push the 4x4 button, which works, but doesn't make as much sense.

eh... just show your boss how you don't have to hold your phone at the top between your thumb and index finger at arms length to make a simple phone call. That'll show him.. <snicker>

Unfortunately where we normally meet my VZW coverage is horrible and AT&T is reasonable
