Home button to open app tray

I was messing with an X the other day at the local Verizon booth and noticed that if I pressed the Home button while on the home screen it would open the app tray. My X however does nothing when pressing the home button from the home screen. Is this an option or app, or just a bug?

Are you sure you didn't tap the arrow with the circle around it on the home screen? That opens the app tray.

hmm intesting...mine doesnt do anyhting either...i know u can change what happens when u double tap the home key...(option to open, 'voice commands, browser, etc)....maybe its an option there...not sure.

scratch that...its not an option under the 'double tap' feature....

If you press and hold the home key, a window will pop up showing the last six apps you have used. Is this what you are seeing?
