List of Verizon-compatible phones

Is there a master list of compatible devices with Verizon's network? I am trying to switch to Verizon from AT&T and have been advised that my current phone won't work. I want to buy a new phone to work with Verizon, but the sales reps say there's is no list they can provide - they can only conduct an IMEI search...

If there's no way to know which phones I can use until I have the IMEI, I just have to buy a phone and then find out if it will work? That doesn't make any sense.

If there's no solution here, I'll just stick with AT&T, but this seems silly.

It will be my pleasure to assist you today, it depends on the network compatibly, devices with 3G are no longer compatibles, or if the device is free, is too easy to find your IMEI you only need to go to your Settings and you can find it.
