I traded in an I-phone 12 Pro Max last October and was supposed to receive $800 credit. 2 months later I receive $360 credit for my phone. Im being told that for me to get the $800 credit I would have had to by a phone under a payment plan for me to get that credit. That would have been nice to know when Im trading in the phone at the store. where they tell me I will get $800 credit, knowing that I havent brought a brought a new phone along with that process. Every communication I receive about the device says $800
So all Im trying to do is get my $800 credit and were talking about Verizon credit here. I cant use it anywhere else but verizon yet this process is becoming so much of a pain. Im thinking I about jumping ship to another carrier.
I called about this issue with customer support 3 times and had to go through the process of explaining everything over and over again. Was promised call backs on this issue every time and I never get a call back. I been with VZW for 10+ years now and have had many issues with my account but I was always able to get it resolved no matter the issue. Im not sure what going on with this customer support but it feel like your speaking to a brick wall for an hour that tells you we are going to call you back...then nothing happens.
