Can I stop my incredible from freezing up?
Perhaps. Please provide more information so those on the forums can help correct the problem.
Mine freezes up everytime it syncs (although I have auto syncs off)
Just within the last hour, I noticed the Google sync kicked in ...and it was syncing for atleast 20 minutes and when I attempted to make a call, the call would not place, so I had to pull the battery and the sync kicked in again and I couldnt do anything until the sync was complete

That shouldn't happen. Have you discussed this with VZW. You shouldn't have your syncing interfere with your normal use of the phone? Sorry you are having to deal with that.
