Locked myself out, forgot my gmail account, how do i factory reset? (droid2)

Turn off your phone or pull out the battery then slide out your keyboard hold x and power key then just hold x when you see the m logo then use the arrows on the keyboard go down to rest then when it is done with the ok button or camera key then it will rest it might take a wile
