Motorola Moto G Play 2021 Internal Storage Memory

I have this new phone as it is the Motorola Moto G Play 2021 phone and it has only 32GB internal storage memory, I have installed a SD Storage Memory Card that has 64GB on it right, how in the world can apps be formatted over onto that card as I have it inside the phone as it is recognized as a notification on the new phone, please please someone help me out, any another question does the apps have to be saved into a file folder or anything like that to be able to try and be formatted onto the SD Card

I want to talk about this phone I just got it the other day and activated it yesterday , How come it is low on storage, I wish I hadn't of went for it as it sure is now doing that notification about running low on storage space, If I wanted to can I return it at a store and just get a different phone, I have not had it a week yet so I should be straight, the phone was ordered online though and not in a store, so will a corporate or authorized retailer let me return it and go for a different one, it can be a 64GB or a 128GB fine with me, Ans as long as it is within my price budget I will be fine with that, so please can it be returned in a store so that I do not have to send it back via a shipping service, or can a different line of service be started on my account and then when I get that other phone I want, then I can return the Motorola Moto G Play 2021 and let the line on it be canceled and disconnected, so please can I do it like that, let me know that, I see that I can start the return online though, I wish there was a option to do an exchange of the device online when starting the return,
