Google Pixel 7 pro having problems accepting PIN number

Recently, my Google Pixel 7 pro started having intermittent problems in unlocking the phone with my PIN number. Sometimes, I will enter the PIN and it will tell me it is the wrong PIN when e know that I have entered it correctly. This has happened to me at least once a day and the only way I have resolved it is is restarting the phone each time it happens. There has to be a permanently solution to this that doesn't require me to restart the phone every single day.

Do you use any other security method for unlocking your phone? I personally haven't seen the issue you describe with my Pixel 7, but I also use another security method to unlock my phone before it defaults to the pin entry.
