where is memo?

I bought a new phone - . The Verizon store agent transferred all my old information from Galaxy 7 to the new phone. Where can I retrieve the old memo material I had stored ? I know the new phone does not use anything referred to as memo, but what is there? Please give me simple step by step instructions. I am a old school learner, and wish I had a book with the new phone instead of having to look online.

I know that sometimes things change when we get a new phone, KRIANZ68. I wouldn't want to be missing any important memo's that I had as well.
