Why doesn't my Moto Power Cell phone videos transfer to the Desktop?

I looked at all the tutorials and videos explaining how to hookup the USB cord to the desktop from cell phone. I do the transfer or think I do, but when I go to Internal shared storage file, the video file (1.5GB) is not there. I went to the downloads folder to find the file, not there. It's not in the DCIM Camera file.

Is it possible it doesn't download? And what could cause it not to download?

I have to find a way to get my videos that I create on the Moto G - Power phone to Youtube, without downloading direct to YT. Because it eats up my data.

Any ideas how to do it?

I know how important it is to get your video files from your Moto G Power to your PC to conserve data and upload your content to YouTube, Chicago0048. It sounds like you've already done a lot so far, and our resources on the topic are fairly limited.

The only other option I can think would be to connect your Moto G Power to your home Wi-Fi network, and use that to upload instead of relying on your mobile data.
