I just learned that Asurion wants to charge me double the value of my phone as a deductible to replace a screen. I was told that with the coverage, a screen replacement would only be $29. This turned out to be a lie. Asurion told me to either pay the $300, or kick rocks. For reference, a local phone repair shop quoted me $275 to replace the screen. I have been paying for the Asurion coverage to roughly 18 months, and they are demanding a ridiculous amount of money before processing my very first claim. Needless to say, I cancelled the coverage for all of my lines.
Asurion is a rip-off. I will never purchase this coverage again, and neither should you. Shame on Verizon for talking me into it.
