I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and every time I have 5GUW I basically have no service. I have no ability to turn it off. I live just north of Cincinnati. I've have this problem since I switched to Verizon last year. Extremely frustrating.

I am having this same problem. I'll have 5guw with 5 bars, then the signal completely dies and I have no service/emergency calls only. I've had this phone for a year and this did not start until a couple days ago.
I've tried putting phone in airplane mode and back out with no improvement. Restarting the phone _sometimes_ fixes it temporarily, but not consistently, and not permanently. I tried going to settings and changing to 4g, which turned my phone to the equivalent of a wheelchair in cement.
I own stock in Verizon, but plan on going to T-Mobile over the weekend, not paying $90/month to have a device that only calls 911.
