Recently, I received emails from the My Verizon community about my community account reaching a milestone since its activation. I have not been a customer with Verizon for several years and would now like delete said account.
However, when trying to access said account, I was locked out. I tried logging using several passwords, I tried to reset my password, but when I had to verify my account with my ZIP code, I tried every ZIP code that I could have possibly used when I was a customer, and yet nothing worked. I tried to access said account by using it like it was ONLY a community account, which allowed me to get a password reset link through the email attached, but when I tried to reset my password, the site told me that I did not have the permission to, specifically using this language attached in the screenshot.
And now, I had to create an entirely new account just to interact with the community so that I could get support.
I want to be able to access this account as well as delete it. As a result of having to make this account as well, I need to delete it.
