BYOD and visual voicemail

I recently brought 4 phones over from ATT to Verizon. Two of the phones are Samsung s22 ultras and the Verizon app says that model is incompatible with visual voicemail. But it works fine with a z flip phone I also ported over.

Is Verizon rolling out compatibility fixes? Or am I stuck without native visual voicemail on the S22s? Is there a Samsung native app? (apologies if these are basic questions….I’m an iPhone user trying to remotely fix android phones belonging to older relatives)

Great question. When bringing in a device from another carrier, inserting the Verizon SIM may allow the device to set up the visual voicemail app. It is not guaranteed that it will install it and there is no other way to get it set up on the device. ~Peter
