setting up e-mail

Hi: I just pulled the Kin out of the box. I'm setting up e-mail. My e-mail address has underscores in it. There is no key for an underscore (_) on this keyboard. WHAT? How do I enter an e-mail address with underscores? Thanks

There is one. Just hit the emoticon button(smiley face button t the right of the space bar) and then tap the big arrow on the right.This brings up another screen of icons and symbols.
