I Signed up for Home Internet 5G with the clear representation and offer of an Xbox S console or a $200 Home Depot Gift card. I tried to choose the $200 Home Depot. On 8/22/23 email I received giving me directions for claiming either either items and it didn't work. I called on 8/24 and the issue was being sent to the Escalation Dept. and agent said I would be emailed a ticket number . Never sent .
On 9/6 I called again after being transferred to 6 different agents ,Hung up on a few times and finally on 9/6 I received an agent who sent me an email to confirm that the ticket # for the Home Depot was created on 8/24/23 and I should expect an update on by 9/8 /23 .
Still NO Followup or Home Depot Card or any contact from Verizon.
I can see the offer on my account but every time I try to claim it, it gives me a 'contact us' message. This is most disturbing
This is consistently a major issue to many Verizon customers who signed up.
