As many others on this forum have stated I have done everything needed to qualify for NFL Sunday Ticket and Verizon absolutely refuses to honor there part of the deal. I have been a customer with verizon for 16 years and this is the worst I have experienced. Ultimately this was is all false advertising, to lock me into 3 year of phone pay off and get my trade in devices without completing there side of the deal.
This began back at the beginning of August when I was looking for phones on Samsung website. They had really good deals on the new Flips I was looking at for my daughters. After reviewing all deals Verizon was offering a better deal but you had to lock into a 3 year promo price discount for your trade in and you also received NFL Sunday Ticket.
I went with Verizon, after two weeks the phones showed up but nothing from Verizon on trade in or Sunday ticket. I called and after 2 + hrs on the phone, I got the trade in information, new plan, and "escalated ticket" which time I was told if I did not receive email to activate within 5 business days to call back. Second, call exactly 5 days later and I call back, I was told I would need to wait an additional 5 days and I was assured it was going to be in my email. Text support three days later told me I had to set a login for that phone on my email, that my account manager login would not work for the promo. Made no sense to me but I set up an email and account login for this line, still nothing. Wait out the full five days and this rep tells me there has never been an "escalated ticket" but she was sure to have put it in and it would only be five more days and this would be resolved. She also promised to call back every day until I had the activations email (other reps promised but never called back). She called for 3 consecutive days to tell me the status, the las time she called (2 days ago) she stated that it was all approved and I would receive the activation code within the next 48 hours. Here we are 72 hrs later, no code, no call, third week without Sunday Ticket (only reason I signed on for this ridiculous 3 year promo).
I have no faith that will ever be resolved, I am not even sure how to be whole again. If I cancel turn the phones in, how are you going to give me my traded in devices back. The Samsung deal is no longer available and if it were I do not have my trade in devices any longer. If I keep the phones I have 3 year deal to get the rest of the deal and maybe never get this $450 (this is third week I will miss so drop $75 off promo value) that is part of this deal, as well changed plan they will not give me back. As far as I can tell, Verizon owes me at minimum $450 dollars and $200 for five hours worth of work getting them to honor there end of this deal. So far they have a $20 credit on my account for my inconvenience.
Fix this or I am leaving......... Spectrum mobile is looking better everyday.
