Sluggishness

I had some sluggishness today (the phone, not me), and noticed that the 'sync' symbol on the status bar (the circular arrows) was on several times (I rarely, if ever, see this.) And one time, when I picked it up, and the bottom of the phone was hot. A battery pull seemed to fix all of this. Any idea what might have caused this? I didn't change any settings and haven't added or updated any apps in a long time. Think this might be a network issue? Do y'all think we might experience some network problems tomorrow and for the next few days with the addition of the iPhone?

I don't want to propagate any paranoia, but I swear the pages on this and several other sites are taking longer to load. I started noticing (maybe imagining) this right after reading this:

My data usage is nowhere near the limits mentioned in this article, but it makes me wonder too loydroidx if we are are going to notice compromised service.

I had this problem once when trying send an email that just wouldn't go. No matter how many times I tried to end it or delete it from my outbox, it would come back and drag down my phone with a constant attempt to sync. Could there maybe be something similar going on with you? Just a weird bug that won't let an account sync and your phone just gets caught in a never ending attempt?

I didn't see what the GB limits were in this article. Looking at my previous bills, I'm between 2 and 3 GB per month. Is that a lot? (I'm thinking it's not.)

I didn't notice that with my email. It was when I went to Facebook. (But Facebook seems a bit wonky lately anyway.)
