Little background. I have a 6-7 year old Samsung Galaxy 7 I purchased from Verizon that I quit using and transferred the number years ago. Phone was sitting in a drawer. My son is to age of getting a phone. I'm trying to use the phone with a cheaper carrier solely for him. Other carrier says Verizon has to unlock it. Verizon policy says it's not locked but I can't receive calls to that phone. Who's telling the truth?
