Signed up for Verzion home internet and my plan qualified for the $200 Amazon gift card. 48 hours after my service had been activated I still has not received one communication from Verzion about how to activate my promotion.
I called the customer service number and after a lengthy call was assured I the promotion would appear under my account on the my Verizon app and I could activate it by there with 2 business days. They rep also told me they would call me back on that day to ensure this had happed. Neither happed. No phone call. Still no communication from Verzion about the promotion.
I called customer service for a second time. This time rep gave me INCORRECT information that contradicted what is states on the Verzion website and what the first rep told me. They stated i would not receive the gift until 60 days. This is not true. After 60 the office is VOID!!!! I told her this, and checked with another team again. They said they emailed me, still no email came. She has told me that I would receive communication within 2 business days, and escalated the issue. Two business days later still communication from Verzion, and no way to activate my promotion.
At this point if I don’t receive anything from Verzion within one more week I will cancel my service and go back to my old provider. I will not deal with dishonesty like this.
