I recently opened a new line of service and qualified to get the free Apple TV. When the tile showed up, I followed the link but wasn't even getting a discount. They wanted me to pay full price. I spent hours chatting with several customer service reps who claimed to have fixed the issue. Except I still have no free Apple TV. The tile still shows up for me, but it only offers me an Apple TV at full price.

Now I've decided to try Verizon 5g Home internet. I'm supposed to get a free Xbox Series S and an Amazon Gift Card. Guess what? The tiles rarely appear, but when they do, I get an error message: "Try again later." Except the tiles aren't there later.

Verizon has made it difficult to speak with anyone on the phone. The chat reps are incompetent; they act confused when I mention these promotions and claim to have never heard of them.

Am I ever going to get these promotions? Has anyone received these promotions?

Hello, klizbet, I'm sorry to hear you ran into issues when trying to redeem your rewards. We are aware of these issue and have implemented a fix as of yesterday, 12/13. Since then, you should be able to redeem your offers using the tile in My Verizon or the My Verizon app. Can you please try to redeem your offers using the tile once again? If you are still running into trouble, please let us know and we will be happy to help.

I was promised a $50 dollar gift card offer and have read of numerous complaints from Verizon customers who can't claim the offers due to various errors that Verizon builds into the app to prevent customers from getting them. No matter how many times I click to claim my offer in my app and after that it brings me to a disclaimer screen to accept the terms of the offer. After accepting the terms it brings me right back to the screen to claim the offer again and loops over and over with no confirmation that the offer was claimed. So it's still not working.

My tiles have been in the app as a reminder. Now that I am eligible to redeem them they are gone. I tired chat and the person just said they couldn’t help and closed the chat on me. This is ridiculous

So it is still issue as of 5/12. Means verizon hasn't even resolved this in 6 months?

I am in the exact same situation. I was promised a 65inch TV when I switched over to Verizon but they have made it impossible for me to redeem.

Multiple reps giving me multiple promises and different excuses to why I have not received the promo that I am eligible for and at this point I feel like they are lying.

I agree with you that this feels like a giant CON.

Hello, I have experienced the exact same issue as you described above, except my offer was for a free Nintendo Switch and $200 Target gift card. I've already spoken with half a dozen agents both on chat and phone, and finally filed a complaint with the BBB. I received a call from the "Executive Office" advising they will work with me about my complaint, and that was 3 days ago. Still waiting to hear. I was told that I have to redeem the promo code for the Switch on the website - NOT the app, and the latest issue is that when you log in to the Verizon website, it directs you to the Verizon app to approve an access request, then the website cycles and posts a message that my account is locked. I am unable to even log in to the website. I am able to log into the app - with the same credentials as the website - and after adding the Switch to my cart and entering the promo code (yes, I manually typed it and triple checked it is correct), it posts a message that the code was not applied to the item in the cart. Still waiting to receive the promo code for the gift card, over a week after I was supposed to be able to redeem both offers.

Same here! I received an email saying that my home offer for either a free Nintendo switch or a $200 Home Depot gift card was ready. Every time I tried to redeem the offer, it said that there was an error in applying the offer to my account and to try again later. I've tried on the website and the app and nothing works. Customer service said they put in request and that I'll hear back in a few days.

Same issue but with a Chromebook. "Redeem offer" tile in app and on website kept disappearing. Then it showed up one day so I clicked on it which takes me to the Samsung website, then I got a message that due to popular demand, no longer offering this promotion but have issued a $350 gift card with no instructions on how to redeem. I've talked to Verizon customer service, social care, multiple reps - all have given different answers. One told me to contact Samsung. Hours and hours spent. When I tried to cancel my service they said they will chargeback the other gift card I received (I had two offers: gift card and Chromebook). . Why is it SO impossible to redeem? Literally the only reason I went through the hassle of switching was because the two offers were compelling and offset the cost.

I certainly apologize for any confusion on the Chromebook offer, mkultra1. I did some digging into this promotion, and I hope that I can help add some clarification. It looks like the Chromebook Go that was part of this promotion is out of stock and no longer being manufactured by Samsung. Instead, Samsung is offering that $350 Samsung credit that can be used towards any purchase on the Samsung site as a substitution of equal value. So you'll follow the tile, and then make a purchase on the Samsung site with the $350 Samsung credit.

They never fixed this and I totally agree. I have been fighting tooth and nail to get the nintendo switch promotion when I got Verizon 5g internet. Guess what. Still no promotion code, still no nintendo switch. I whol heartedly believe verizon is false advertising and should be sued for it as well. This is a poor operational company!

I switched my internet from Hughsnet to Verizon. They were doing a buyout promotion called the 5g home contract buyout. I’ve been given the run around since May to have the 385.00 put on my Verizon account. How do I submit my final bill with the cancellation charge to Verizon? Yeah I was told that I could redeem offer August 10 so the 10 came no email of course new excuse was support team had to fix in their system the fact that nobody checked the promotion when I purchased phone another three days to fix now it’s been three days so I’m curious what the exusse Will be today if they don’t fix this today and walk me through the ordering of tv I’m going to better business Bureau

I did an online chat and I asked about these promotion choices. They said to wait a month and an email link would be sent. Well, it been two months and I’ve not received an email regarding these offers for switching to Verizon home 5g plus internet.

KY63, I'm happy to hear you got our 5G Home service Naturally, I want you to be able to get any promotions you qualify for. Depending on when you made your purchase, there can be a wait period before the promotion is active. Usually it's about 60-65 days. If you're past that point, then you can check My Verizon (signed in as the Account Owner or Manager). Once signed in, you scroll down to the 'Make the Most of Your Plans' section. If there's an eligble offer it would appear there. You don't need to wait for an email with the majority of the promotions.

I’m going through the same issue got 5g home internet because of the rayban glasses promo .. guess what can’t redeem them spent hours on the phone they tell me I’m going to get the glasses they just need to submit a claim. Was on hold for an hour and than they hung up on me . Can’t get a hold of the same rep he don’t call me back so frustrating. This is not right they need to be taking to court for this .

I'm having the same issues, which are apparently epidemic with this "rewards" program. I ordered FIOS because of the Ray-Ban glasses promo. It was supposed to be redeemable on 9/25 and I received an email with a link to the redemption page. Except the redemption link didn't work. I've now spent several hours over the past few days with successive phone reps that tell me I'm waiting on some "balance check", while the readily agree that my account is up to date. At one point I was transferred to a woman named Lauren , described as the "Promotions Dept. Supervisor" who informed me that she could override the system and oder the glasses. When I requested to be able to pick out the style, as originally promised, she testily informed me that that was impossible and that I would be lucky to get any glasses at all. When I insisted I be able to choose she told me that I would be back and simply transferred me back to the customer service line - and another 20 minute wait to explain the situation once again. I don't understand the delay in getting my promised reward - and I don't understand the rudeness.

I am experiencing the same issue. I received an email stating that my offers ($200 gift card and $400 off Samsung at Home Depot) are ready to be redeemed. However, when I click the link in the email, these offers do not appear in my account, and the tiles for these offers are missing. It feels like this is a significant giant con and we victims have fallen for it..

I was promised no install fee (I was charged)

I was promised 6months of disney + (offer can not be redeemed or solved after multiple support contacts)

I was promised a target gift card. (I finally got that, but it took contacting support)

I suspect the intent is to make it so hard to redeem that a large portion of customers give up. I guess it's not illegal as long as you never admit that the intent is to keep customers from accessing promised promotions and maintain it's just individual errors.

When can I get my redeem offers?

I signed up for new services yesterday, my profile was flagged by fraud for no reason. They took an hour to send the verification email for my identity. They told me my identity was verified and processed my order and then cancelled it because they couldn’t “ validate” my information. It definitely feels like they just didn’t want me to take advantage of the new customer offers.

They gave me an updated code which doesn’t work. Called and told me to try chrome. That don’t work either. Now spent about 5 hours on this.

I received an email to redeem my Xbox last week and the actual off still has yet to show up in My Verizon app

This was the exact same promotion I signed up under. The Home Depot tile was present in the app for me... until I went to redeem it, just shortly before the end of the promo redemption period. Fortunately, I'd had the foresight to copy the code when I first saw it. It worked on Home Depot's site, without issue. Now that the claim period has elapsed, the tile is back up. So, I was able to redeem that portion of my offer. The $200 credit, which is noted on my online order receipt, has been unavailable to me, and the biggest waste of time, headaches and obfuscation with no results from Customer Service. A means to claim the $200 credit was never provided. I had to seek help from them. I was told to go to this site. The moment I went to the site, my phone started warning me that it was unsafe. Lovely. I went against sound judgement because I really need that reprieve from my ever increasing bill to help me out right now. I did what they required and submitted and agreed to their terms. Was told to wait, I think 5-7 days, or something like that... Nothing. I contact C.S. via chat. Umpteen times, to no avail. Always a drawn out waste of time. Explaining. Waiting. Getting no where. I have other thinngs to do and it just eats up my time and tries my patience. I've quit playing that game. But they have not. At least once a day, I get a be esse message statung there's an update. Nothing changes. When I go to check it out, it says they 'need mire information'. Yet, if I ask them what information I could possibly give them ir what to do, I can not get a coherent or fruitful answer to that most simple inquiry. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with them. At one point, I was told I was in the wrong zipcode. I didn't move. They offered this to me with the exact location of service known to them. So, nice try. It's on my receipt! After a while, she comes back on the line and says they can offer me a $100 credit (basically they owe me $300 now in actuality!). I told her no, it's a $200 credit. As stated on my receipt. Tries to tell me I didn't claim it on time. Well that's funny, because it's clear to see by the order date and the support requests that I was trying to resolve this all within the timeframe they laid out. They told me they were going to give me a $10 off per month discount for a year. Hardly comperable. It just highlights an advantage to them of my continuing service with them. And also falls way short of the $200 credit amount. Not to mention, they've negated this benefit to me about a month prior with their most recent spontaneous increase to my bill. So big whoop. Eventually we ended the call after her attempts to placate me with a claim that it would resolve in 7 days. That I should be so naiive as yo buy into that lie yet again. And here we are 2 weeks later and nothing has come of it. But everyday there's a nonsense 'update' that they need more information. Mysterious information that no one can specify what it is they're looking for. I'm livid! And now, with the amount of my time they've wasted and the hassle they've put me through, and the true colors they've shown, I can barely wait until the time transpires when I can cancel without being charged the amount of the Samsung credit (6 months total). I don't want to hive my business to a company that is doing it's customers like this. On principal alone. And I'll tell everyone I can, every chance I get just exactly what Verizonon doesto people. What a joke!

Completely agree. They accused me over the phone of lying despite being told in store I’d get my console. This is ridiculous and awful customer service. Worst I’ve ever dealt with.
