Just got a new Pixel 8 to replace my Pixel 6 Pro. The phone has been very difficult to set up. It took several hours and a couple of calls to Verizon to get it activated. It is working now, and the Pixel 6 Pro has been powered off for days. I cannot receive pictures in text messages. I get a button to download, but tapping it does not bring the picture through. I've looked in the messages settings, but cannot find a setting that seems to be restricting pictures. I have any settings I can find on the least restrictive mode. I have cycles airplane mode and rebooted the phone several times. Anyone have some ideas to try next? Thanks!
