So how do i start this! Well 12/25/2023 is the day my iPhone 15 pro had been stolen right from my hands as i waited at the cross walk! Very very bold move whoever that thug was! So i report it lost/stolen. I file a claim and it gets accepted but then a day later it gets denied reason, "my device wasnt active on my account the time of the incident." Ok i talk to verizon agents they assure me that my phone was active on the account so i file my 2nd claim which again denied reason, "my device wasnt active on my account at the time of incident." Talk with verizon again and Asurion they claim to have fixed the issue so for the 3rd time i file a claim and denied again reason, what do you think? "My device wasnt active on my account at the time of the incident." Get on chat again with Verizon for about 9 hours call asurion as well they claim to have fixed it and promised me that i would not have to pay the Deductible for the inconvenience YAY right!? File a 4th claim and DENIED reason? You guessed it "my device wasnt active on my account at the time of the incident." Again on the phone and chat with Verizon and Asurion AGAIN supposedly fixed and mind you its been about a week without my phone! So file a 5th claim and DENIED! Reason? "We couldnt approve your claim because the line was suspended." Uh excuse me Asurion told me i had to suspend the line which i ddi the day it was stolen i reported it lost/stolen and they suspended it which shouldnt mess with the claim but i guess it did and so I'm on the phone AGAIN and the chat line AGAIN with Verizon and Asurion and right now at this time its a VERY VERY much of an inconvenience to me so they say things are "resolved" again! Before i file my 6th claim get a 2nd line jus so i can have a phone for my daily things i do! More money spent and i havent been at the Carrier for not even 2 months! So i file my 6th claim and DENIED! Really?! Reason? "My device wasnt active on my account at the time of the incident!" AGAIN wasted time on the phone and chat line for hours and they all claim to resolve my issue and the deductible i have to pay is i dont pay it Verizon says for the inconvenience! So 7th claim filed and drum roll please! DENIED! Reason?! "The Device you reported lost or stolen is still active on your account and still being used after the date you reported it lost/stolen!" LIKE FR?! The agents activated it so i wouldnt get the denied because it was suspended but now its denied because the agents activate it so i wouldnt get denied again but did anyways?! AGAIN on the phone and chat line with Verizon and Asurion! So with all this hassle and wasted time i find out Asurion had my device on their end an Iphone 15 Plus instead of my Iphone 15 Pro! They then try to blame Verizon for they are at fault for putting the wrong device but on my end and Verizons end it says Iphone 15 Pro! Blame game Asurion plays! And also in Asurions words when i say i dont have to pay the Deducitble, "It doesnt matter how big of an inconvenience we had caused you you still have to pay the deductible their is no way around it so pay it!" Wow! And then jus a lil bit ago i'm on the chat line with the agents of Verizon and i am telling my issue and tell them its not easy forking over $220 when you live in San Francisco and then the agent proceeds with this, "Okay. You tell me how can i send you $220 amount on chat?' Me in response, "Uh idk can you do that?" "Zelle?" The Agent, "Do you think this could happen?" Me reponded, "Do you?" The agent, "No i'm not" "In this case you can pay the amount of Asurion company and i can apply the manual credit on your bill against this charges." "That is the best i can do for you." I'm like thats really bad customer service messing with someone like that! And then i get on another chat with another agent who says the same thin gthat i have to pay the deductible! Wait didnt you guys jus tell me this entire 15 says that i didnt have to pay it now youre telling me i have to even after the biggest Inconvenience, made fun of by an agent which they are on their side, being discriminated against at the local store, being lied to, telling me they will resolve my issue they didnt, not to mention the 7 denials by asurion, and that's not a big enough inconvenience? Yet you still want me to fork over $220 when you guys said i didnt have to pay it?! I'm jus in shock and dont know what do make of this anymore! Can i have opinions please? I havent even been with Verizon not even 2 months yet! Nov 23rd is when i joined and i regret every bit of it!
