On Aug 28, 2023, my wife and I traded in our Galaxy S8 phones at a local Verizon store, enticed by a email promotion I received for a $400 trade in for each of our specific phones. Our phones were in good condition. At the store, we were assured we would receive the $400 for each phone. Still, on my Verizon account, there is no record of a trade in. The last time I called in December, I was assured it would be taken care of. But it hasn't been taken care of, and with each new bill, I get steamed all over again. We have been loyal Verizon customers for years. From reading all these posts, with so many people with the same problem, I wonder if anyone actually does get credit for a trade-in. It seems so discouraging, maybe they count on everyone giving up.
