Valentines Day is coming soon and I wanted to surprise my wife with a new iPhone. I saw an offer on her line to upgrade to iPhone 15 Pro “Get up to $1000 off this device when you trade in. Upgrade required”. It shows iPhone XR is eligible for $1000 trade-in credit but when I go to checkout it lowers it to $500. So I contact customer service via chat. He needed access to my account and when I gave him access, he ordered a $500 PS5! I can’t even cancel the order and he said he canceled it but I have no cancel confirmation. Then his manager gets on the chat and assures me the order was cancelled. So when I ask the manager to help me order the iPhone 15 Pro, he says the line isn’t eligible when it is clearly on my offers! I wasted 2 hours on customer chat with Verizon. They both gave me the run around and the $500 charge is still on my account! I will definitely be taking my family plan to another carrier!
