Spent hours today on the phone and never actually got the issue resolved. Eventually they told me they would call me back in a week. How is that helpful? And no, I don't believe they will actually call me back.
Verizon just launched this "Second Number" thing. For those of us who carry two phones, sounds great. $10/month if you sign up before 6/4/24. Seems simple, right?
The fine print here is that Verizon Customer Service doesn't know enough about it to help you. After spending almost 90 min on the phone, wasnt able to get anything done. This was after speaking with multiple people. The other fine print is that with Verizon's convoluted and ever changing pricing, this $10/month service is likely to cost you MORE than paying full price for another line. Why? Because if you move a line to Second Number, the pricing for each of your other lines goes up.
I'm not sure why I thought I could get a straight answer from Verizon. After 9 years, I really should know better. Anytime Verizon comes out with something new, it always ends up less features and more expensive for the customer.
