Cancel a line with a phone on contract

I purchased a phone on a 3 year contract to use while working at home and I no longer have that job. I already have a personal phone but owe on the new phone still. What are my options to cancel that line? Is there a way out without paying off the device first?

Hello, Ktme0729. Thanks so much for reaching out to us regarding the phone in question. Help is here. For the phone you no longer need, did you have a promotion attached to it? Do you know if there is anyone interested in taking over the line for you? You all could do a Transfer Your Service meaning that person would take full financial responsibility for the line (phone number) and Device Payment. Click the link for more info.
