Can't Send Group texts with #'s not in my contact list

I'm trying to group text 10 people who all are not in my contact list, so i have to type in all their #'s.

every time i try is says "invalid recipient." ive tried adding a '+' before each #, i tried just doing 2 #s but nothing works.

Group texts with people in my contact list works fine.

Please help. im so frustrated.

Hello, welcome to the community. I have never seen this happen on any of my Pixel phones. What text app are you using, the stock Messages app (blue & white icon) or Verizon Messages+ (red & white icon), or something else? You could always try switching to a different texting app for a short test and see if the issue remains.
