Fios authentication failure on Apple devices

Hi, I have Fios extreme TV package and am having difficulties authentication Fios as my TV provider on apps such as NBC Sports on Apple devices (Apple Tv, IPad, iPhone). When linking the TV provider, putting in the code, I get to the Verizon login and without fail it just comes back with invalide user Id /password.
‘if I do the same thing on an Amazon TV or fire stick it works with no issues.
i have tried troubleshooting, i]unlinking the TV provider etc, but nothing seems to work.
any ideas>

Usually a call to the billing department to have your account re-authorized takes care of it. If not it could be due to a recent Apple update that once again broke authorization, and Verizon needs to play catch-up. You could also try deleting the cache and user settings for the apps that aren't working.
