How to backup all Verizon Cloud files to a portable SSI drive?
Download and use the Desktop App for Verizon Cloud (v24.5+). Log in with your MyVerizon info and you will see in Device Management a 'Download All' button for each device you used to save content to the Cloud (If you are the owner of a Shareable Plan you can not download content from members, only your own).Due to current limitations you can only save to the C: drive (or Prime drive). From there you may use a file manager app to transfer content to another drive location internal or external, as well as a new on-line service.
One last update... Tried installing the mac version of the VCloud desktop app - failed after installation with a blank screen when the app is opened... Minor annoyance. It is clear that there is a bug on downloading any large number of photos from the website -fails with no error message after a few seconds (works with 30 files, fails even as low as 200). This is not a session timeout (session timeout is closer to 15 minutes), so a real bugFinally, using the VCloud app on my Win 11 machine. This creates the Verizon Cloud / VZMOBILE folders which is all thumbnails. From there, select all and COPY using the menu (NOT DRAG/DROP as that will delete - another bad design choice which is very dangerous). Then PASTE to another folder on the machine and wait - it is pretty slow, but seems to be working so far
You can download all of your content onto your computer or directly to an external hard drive by following the steps listed in the following link: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-79147/ If you have any issues, please provide us with more information such as your OS and we can try to get you more detailed steps.

I have been trying to do this task (a different thread) with no success. Now trying to follow your answer...I just downloaded the Desktop App for Verizon Cloud from the verizon website (running on Windows 11). I am logged in and can see my photos, etc.. BUT I don't see any "Device Management" item anywhere in the app. Perhaps, I am looking in the wrong place, but there isn't much in the app... The 3 dots on the right just go to "settings" with "tag and search", "storage", "profile"...The left hand side navigation is attached... So, if you can point me at the right place, I would appreciate it. I tried doing this originally from the website and it fails every time when I try to download 2800 photos. Thanks
Gary

STILL NO ANSWER from verizon support - whether community or online chat or phone support... This really shouldn't be this difficult.
GaryFNC, we'd love the opportunity to partner with you and provide you with support on downloading your content from the Verizon Cloud. I will send you a private message to continue the support.

GaryFNC, can you possibly help me with this exact situation? Third paragraph in your last response: I don't have a menu option; I was highlighting desired files (only about 100 at a time would work) and CTRL+C to copy, then CTRL+V to paste in desired folder. HOWEVER, the cloud app open on my pc is giving me an error saying it won't allow me to copy. Other times it copies & pastes but nothing is being transferred. Is there any way you can offer some suggestions?
