Is there a current list of all supported/allowed verizon phones that DO NOT REQUIRE DATA PLAN && have camera and flash and qwerty keyboard?
No list that I know of, but I think the LG Octane is one of the best options in that category.
Hey there isn't a list that's available, but I ran a query through my equipment database, and here are the devices that we would support/have available. Here ya go:
LG Cosmos Touch
Lg Cosmos
LG EnV II
LG Octane
LG Versa - Note: you have to buy the attachable keyboard.
LG Voyager
Pantech Jest
Samsung Intensity
Samsung Intensity II
Kin One(m)
Kin Two(m)
Verizon Wireless Blitz
Verizon Wireless Razzle
LG EnV III
LG EnV Touch
G'zOne Brigade
Samsung Reality
Samsung Rogue
Samsung Glyde
Samsung Alias
Samsung Alias II
Samsung Zeal
LG EnV
LG V
Motorola Rival
This is what I found with physical QWERTY keyboards. If you want virtual (touchscreen) QWERTY keyboards, let me know and I'll research some more.
Mike,
Which of these phones would you say are the best from a usage point of view. (Less breakage / service problems?) I have an intensity and was looking at ENV2 / Voyager / Intensity II / any others?? Thanks.

Here are some sites where you can read customer reviews for phones past and present:
http://www.phonescoop.com/
http://www.phonearena.com/
http://www.cnet.com/
http://www.viewpoints.com/Cell-Phones
I don't know how long this has been available; ebay now lets you submit a review for the cellphone you bought.
While sometimes the review is about the experience(s) with the seller, most of the reviews are for the cellphone itself.
Say you're looking for reviews for an LG enV2. Type "LG enV2" and the first lisiting is a summary of the current auction listings. Don't click on an individual ebay auction. Look at the last line of the summary -- it'll list how many reviews have been submitted. Click on that and then scroll about half way down the page to read the reviews.
e.g.

I would love a list of touch pad phones that don't need a data package. I currently have an LG Dare. Which I love except it doesn't let me save pics or videos to a card. And recently deleted a huge amount of pics I have saved to the phone. Giant bummer. I just want a nice phone but not have to pay extra for internet and crap that I never use. Thanks
