my verizon.net inbox emails kept vanishing, yesterday I could see back to June 26th, today back to June 27 only. This pertains to iphone mail app and the AOL website mail inbox. The laptop inbox is not affected, except once, last year, a thirteen months period 2022-2023 was gone. Since this vanishing problem started last year (building a 13 months gap but followed by uninterrupted reception for next six months ), I was relieved until a few days ago. So, I deleted the verizon mail from iphone mail app and tried to reinstall with an AOL generated app password. Something is wrong with the setup: I can receive, but cannot send emails - I get a "no password provided for smtp.verizon.net". Sending from laptop works - I did not fiddle with it. Somebody please give me detailed/comprehensive instructions how to reinstall on iphone. Also, why do the not even old emails vanish, have I reached the storage ceiling? How can I check it?
