When I purchased my Verizon service, one of the incentives was a $200 Target gift card. I had to wait 60 days to redeem said incentive. While I was waiting those 60 days, the promotion was switched to a Chromebook, which I have no use for. I called and spoke to someone at the gift card department and she told me that she couldn't do anything for me because the promotion was no longer on my account and that it had been swapped for the Chromebook. I am very upset about this, as I specifically chose Verizon because of this incentive. This promotional tactic, in which a company baits a customer with incentives only to switch said incentives to better suit them, is unlawful and we are entitled to the incentives that supported our decision to switch to Verizon. I am hoping that I can speak to someone else that may be able to assist.
