Unlocked m2000

I have a T-Mobile unlocked inseego m2000 that I would like to use on my Verizon hotspot / data only plan. I currently have a M8800. I switched the SIM card into the m2000 but it shows no internet available. I searched the IMEI number under byod section of the Verizon app and it shows it to be invalid. Is there something else that needs to be done by Verizon to switch the devices?
