Turn Off Travel Pass and "Pay As You Go"

Question

We will be going to Greece and will have iPhones 11, 14 and 15.  I have read how to remove Travel Pass but also seen that "Pay As You Go" will automatically activate.  We will be using pre-paid eSims while in Greece and Whats App for calls and do not want to incur any additional costs from Verizon.  How do we accomplish this?

We hope you have a very exciting trip and don't want any unexpected charges to take away from that. Once you remove the Verizon SIM it can no longer connect to the network. If the 14 or 15 are on eSIM you can turn off voice and date roaming following the instructions here: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-206955/
